Cooperation with the WBL’s organization sets another milestone in QG’s social initiative of developing contact sports in Ukraine. The Group has already assisted the League in holding its first tournament in 2020 and will support all its upcoming events this year.

«We are convinced the League has a huge potential. Today, female boxing in Ukraine and the world lags far behind its male counterpart in terms of popularity. Thanks to the partnership with Quattrgroup, the League’s team will have access to resources necessary for further development and reaching the international level», said the President of the League and Ukrainian Lionesses head coach Vladimir Bogatyrenko.

Women's Boxing League is a sports organization established in 2018 with the support of the Ukrainian Boxing Federation and the Ministry of Sports of Ukraine. It is a unique project at the intersection of professional boxing and show that aims to open female boxing to the general public and make women's fights no less expected than men's ones.

The League has its own team “Ukrainian Lionesses" consisting of the members of the national boxing team and other top-level athletes. In 2019, the team held five meets in Ukrainian cities, four of them international — against Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, and Romania. Ukrainian boxers came out victorious in all of those.

In 2020, the League’s season launched on July 1 in the Kyiv night club “Atlas” with the impressive “Battle of the cities”, where the lionesses fought against the team of Ukrainian cities. Now, Ukrainian Lionesses are training for the match against the German national team set to take place later this fall.
