The Ukrainian Youth Boxing Championship taking place on October 5-11 in Khmelnitsky is this year’s main competition for Ukrainian fighters aged 17-18 as it offers them a chance to get into the national team and take part in the international tournaments. Quattrgroup became the general partner of the event organized by the Khmelnitsky Regional Boxing Federation, the Boxing Federation of Ukraine and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
“All Ukrainian boxers whose names are now known all around the world had started with the tournaments like this. You won’t see dozens of TV cameras and million-dollar prizes here, but this is where future stars light up. We wanted to have the event’s organization be on par with its importance, so in addition to purely organizational support we contributed to the development of the promotional campaign and provided live online broadcasts of the final fights,” said Sergei Vilner, Quattrgroup CEO.
This year, about 200 athletes in 10 weight categories will take part in the championship. A live online broadcast of the final fights of the future world champions will be available on October 11 on the event 's Facebook page.
The Ukrainian Youth Boxing Championship is organized by Quattrgroup as part of its own corporate social responsibility program aimed at the development of contact sports in Ukraine. In addition to cooperating with the Khmelnitsky Regional Boxing Federation, the group is also the principal partner of the Women's Boxing League and supports events held under its auspices.
